Live365 is starting to suck

I really hate having to talk about this here, but I imagine some of my listeners occasionally bump into this page, so this is the best place to do it. I’ve been broadcasting via Live365 for almost three years, and on the whole it’s been a productive relationship.

Unfortunately, they are implementing some changes that I am sure are going to drive at least some of my listenership away. As it stands already, I’m hardly broadcasting to an audience of millions, but every new hoop they make listeners jump through drives a few more of you away.

I don’t like having to log into a website just so some loser can spam me, target popups at me, and sell my info. I’m sure you don’t either. To be fair, at least some of this obnoxious intrusiveness is being forced upon them by the odious CARP regulations, which require all sorts of nosiness (my own opinion is that the usual assholes had this written into the regs precisely because it discourages listenership.)
