Pocky and Madeira

ポッキJust a small update… We grilled some chicken the other day, and I had Pocky (ポッキ) and madeira for dessert. Oh, yes.

In all seriousness, I’ve been a bit paralyzed by having, probably, way too many things to write about, and so I’ve neatly settled the issue by writing, um, nothing. At least I’m not switching to Ubuntu.

I’ll probably be visiting the Tastefest (warning — pitiful web presence) again this year. We had a great time there last year. I was planning on going on Sunday, but appears the Great Lakes Myth Society will be playing on the 4th so maybe we’ll wait until then.

I make it a rule not to write about work, but, um, I get to visit NASA in 2 weeks. :) Dude.

"At least I’m not switching to Ubuntu." Great one... NASA sounds cool as well.

I'll just be installing software, but my one of my earliest memories is watching a moon landing, so, yep, this is a big deal, personally speaking.

But even apart from human space flight, NASA seem to do loads of amazing stuff. A few years back I did an internship where I had to look around NASA websites to get inspiration for similar projects. And they just have so many great resources to learn about all sorts of things online. Quite amazing.
